Recently, my fiance and I welcomed into the world a beautiful baby girl so we’ve been doing some serious baby clothes shopping. Like her momma, I hope she takes an interest in fashion when she’s older. And given she’s the daughter of a fashionista, I like her to look her best. With this in mind, here’s my pick of where to get baby girls clothes, to suit all budgets:
With sets from £12 and coats from £14, what’s not to love? Primark are famed for making fashion affordable, so it won’t break the bank, and won’t matter if they don’t fit in it for long. They cater for all seasons, so your little baby girl can be cool in the summer or toasty in the winter. They cover everything from babygros and vests to tights, coats and the prettiest little dresses and comfy leggings.
Their new arrivals section is always full of fresh new designs that will keep you one step ahead of the fashion game. Matalan pride themselves on high quality and high value, our kids’ clothing are great for stocking up on your little one’s essentials as well as treating them to that special party outfit.
H&M’s baby girls clothes range has everything she’ll need for her wardrobe. They have a great range of basic tops and tees, as well as comfy jeans in a range of styles for you to choose from. They wash and wear really well, and I personally find they are sized well enough that they last a while too with a little room to grow into before having to replace with a bigger size. Win.

Sometimes, only a designer label will do. I love this Little Marc Jacobs sweatshirt and their Firetrap range. Their range of baby clothes includes newborn and infant sizes across a selection of baby jackets, babygros, outfit sets, dresses and more. Find everyday essentials too from baby bottles to blankets and discover a range of designer baby clothes by brands including Polo Ralph Lauren, Elle, Emporio Armani and UGG Australia.
Harvey Nichols’ edit of baby girl clothing has everything you need to dress up your mini fashionista from day one. Discover adorable outfits and accessories from luxury designers and build her a capsule wardrobe with Balmain onesies and pretty Stella McCartney dresses. Up the style stakes with statement pieces from Versace and choose from logo T-shirts, printed dresses and cosy knitwear.
