12 Famous Faces You Didn’t Know Were In Your Favourite Films

Anyone who has read my blog before will tell you, I love a celebrity cameo. What I love more though, is an unexpected celebrity cameo, especially one we’ve all overlooked because they weren’t the famous household name they are today! Here’s 12 of my favourites:

Celebrity: Elijah Wood

Movie and Role: in ‘Back to the Future II’ (1989), Elijah wood plays ‘Video Game Boy #1’. Lead character, Marty McFly, runs into Elijah Wood’s character at the Cafe 80s, and shows him how to play classic shooting arcade games. Elijah was only 8 years old when the movie was released. This was also his first ever movie role credit.

Now Known For: his role as Frodo in ‘The Lord of the Rings’ franchise.

Celebrity: Seth Rogen

Movie and Role: is almost unrecognizable as one of the bullies who terrorizes Donnie Darko in the cult classic movie ‘Donnie Darko’ (2001).

Now Known For: his roles in ‘Superbad’ (2007), ‘Knocked Up’ (2007), ‘Pineapple Express’ (2008), ‘This is the End’ (2013) and ‘Bad Neighbours (2014).

Celebrity: Natalie Portman

Movie and Role: Natalie Portman was only 16 years old when she starred in Tim Burton’s ‘Mars Attacks’ (1996) as Taffy Dale, the sulky daughter of the US President.

Now Known For: her roles in ‘Leon’ (1994), ‘Closer’ (2004) and ‘Black Swan’ (2010).

Celebrity: James Franco

Movie and Role: he played Jason in ‘Never Been Kissed’ (1999), one of Josie Geller’s popular and rowdy classmates at South Glen South High.

Now Known For: his role in ‘Spider-Man’ franchise and lead in ‘127 Hours’ (2010).

Celebrity: Jessica Alba

Movie and Role: she plays the high school queen bee in ‘Never Been Kissed’ (1999)

Now Known For: her roles in ‘Honey’ (2003), ‘Sin City’ (2004) and ‘Fanastic Four’ (2004).

Celebrity: Megan Fox

Movie and Role: as ‘Stars-and-Stripes Bikini Kid Dancing Under Waterfall’ in ‘Bad Boys II’ (2003). Can you believe she was only 15 years old?

Now Known For: her role in ‘Transformers’ (2007), ‘Jennifer’s Body’ (2009) and ‘This is 40’ (2012).

Celebrity: Julianne Hough

Movie and Role: did you know that a young Julianne Hough is sitting with the other Gryffindor’s at Hogwarts in ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’ (2001)? You do now!

Now Known For: her role in ‘Grease Live!’ (2016), ‘Safe Haven’ (2013) and ‘Footloose’ (2011).

Celebrity: Scarlett Johansson

Movie and Role: she plays Molly Pruitt in ‘Home Alone 3’ (1997), the middle child of the Pruitt family.

Now Known For: her role in ‘Lost in Translation’ (2003), ‘Girl with a Pearl Earring’ (2003), ‘The Other Boleyn Girl (2008), ‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona’ (2008), ‘Hitchcock’ (2012), ‘Her’ (2013), ‘Lucy’ (2013) and ‘Marriage Story’ (2019).

Celebrity: Anna Kendrick

Movie and Role: she playsJessica Stanley, Bella’s friend in ‘Twilight’ (2008).

Now Known For: starring in ‘A Simple Favour’ (2018) and the ‘Pitch Perfect’ franchise.

Celebrity: Allison Janney

Movie and Role: she plays a small part as an unknown parent who visits the department store Cole’s in ‘Miracle on 34th Street’ (1994) and asks to speak to the manager after a conversation with their new Santa Claus.

Movie and Role: did she know she plays one of the popular ‘Six Chicks’ high school clique in ’13 Going on 30′ (2004)? Yeah, me neither.

Movie and Role: she plays a very young orphan who meets the princess in ‘The Princess Diaries’ (2004).
