Holiday in Lockdown… Festive Supermarket Fashion

It’s finally December, and while we shoud be getting excited for Christmas, instead we’re in and out of lockdowns and living under restrictions and rationing. This means many of our favourite high street retailers have had to sadly close their doors due to the pandemic. Luckily, Britain has some *amazing* supermarket fashion with pieces that could easily rival the high street stores.

Here’s some of my stand out pieces from the UK’s supermarkets:

George @ Asda

It’s monochrome magic at George at Asda. With studs, sequins, leather and sparkle, you’re sure to make an entrance, even if it’s just in your own living room! Personally, I’d style the metallic jeans with a plain black camisole and blazer. You can absolutely wear sequins during the day too… just let them do the talking and tone down the rest of your outfit.

Tu @ Sainsburys

I’m loving the Tu collection right now! It’s lots of leather, bronze and copper metallics, sequins and leopard prints. Try dressing up a pair of leather shorts with a sweatshirt, dark tights and ankle boots for daytime. In the evening, swap the boots for heels and the jumper for something with a little sparkle.

F&F @ Tesco

F&F clothing at Tesco have gone all out with the sequins. It’s mostly silver, or black with a silver shimmer. There’s some great pieces to dress up a little this Christmas while still being comfy at home. I love this blouse, I’d team it with a pair of grey or black jeans with black ankle boots. The dress would look amazing with black ankle boots too. The skirt is perfect for daytime, with a tee and a biker jacket, with ankle boots and a big chunky scarf.
